Here’s the English version of the injection molding machine operating procedure:

Here's the English version of the injection molding machine operating procedure:

1. Pre-Startup Checks

  • Safety Inspection: Ensure the machine's surrounding area is clean, and verify that all safety devices (such as guards and limit switches) are functioning correctly.
  • Mold Check: Confirm the mold is securely installed, and check that the mold surface is clean with no debris.
  • Oil and Water Circuit Check: Ensure the hydraulic oil level is adequate and the oil quality is good; verify that the cooling water pipes are securely connected and that water flows properly.
  • Power and Air Supply: Ensure a stable power supply and check that air pressure is within the specified range.
油、水路检查:确保液压油位充足、油质良好; 检查冷却水管连接是否牢固,水流是否正常。

2. Setup and Configuration

  • Heating Cylinder Temperature Setting: Set the temperature in each section of the heating cylinder (front, middle, and rear) according to the material requirements. The temperature should be slightly higher than the melting temperature of the plastic used.
  • Injection Parameter Settings:
    • Injection Pressure: Adjust based on the material and product requirements.
    • Injection Speed: Use a moderate speed to ensure a smooth surface finish on the product.
    • Holding Pressure and Time: Set an appropriate holding pressure and time to avoid shrinkage in the product.
    • Screw Speed and Back Pressure: Configure these based on the material properties to control the melt quality of the plastic.
  • Cooling Time: Set the cooling time according to product requirements to avoid deformation.

3. Operational Procedure

  • Preheating: Turn on the heating system and wait for the temperature to reach the set value (typically takes 10-30 minutes).
  • Mold Closing: Press the "Mold Close" button, allowing the machine to close the mold automatically, ensuring the clamping force is set correctly.
  • Injection: Start the injection process, and the machine will inject molten plastic into the mold cavity. The injection is divided into multiple stages, with each stage having specific pressure and speed settings.
  • Holding Pressure: After injection, the machine enters the holding phase, maintaining pressure in the mold cavity to compensate for material shrinkage.
  • Cooling: Once the cooling time is reached, activate the mold cooling system to ensure even internal cooling of the product.
  • Mold Opening: After cooling, press the "Mold Open" button to open the mold.
  • Product Removal: Remove the product using a robotic arm or manually, taking care not to damage the mold.
  • Cycle Repeat: Repeat the above steps, ensuring consistent parameters for each injection cycle.

4. Shutdown Procedure

  • Barrel Cleaning: Before shutdown, switch to a cleaning material or run the screw empty to purge the barrel of residual plastic.
  • Turn Off the Heater: Turn off the heating system, and wait for the temperature to drop to a safe range before cutting off the power.
  • Shut Off Cooling Water: Turn off the cooling water and air supply, ensuring no residual pressure remains in the machine.
  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Clean up any waste material and dust around the machine, and perform routine maintenance to keep it in good working condition.

5. Precautions

  • Safety: Avoid placing hands between the molds or near the rotating screw during operation to prevent accidents.
  • Regular Maintenance: Inspect the hydraulic system, transmission parts, heating system, and other components regularly to ensure normal operation and prolong machine life.

This procedure applies to most standard injection molding machines, though specific settings and adjustments may vary depending on the machine model and product requirements.
